1. What Crusoe is

Crusoe is a marketplace operated by Private Island Corporation (Panamá) that connects travelers with independent local operators offering transportation, charters, tours, and related experiences. The operators — not Crusoe — provide the services you book. Crusoe arranges the booking and collects payment on the operator's behalf.

2. Bookings and payment

When you complete checkout, you pay Crusoe the full listed price by card through our payment processor. Your booking is a request until the operator confirms it. Prices are in US dollars.

3. Cancellations and refunds

You may cancel free of charge up to 48 hours before your scheduled arrival or start time; contact us or the operator to do so. Cancellations made later may not be refundable.

If an operator cancels your confirmed booking or fails to provide the service, you receive a full refund to your original payment method.

4. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for providing accurate contact details, arriving on time, treating rented equipment with reasonable care, and complying with the operator's safety instructions and local law. You may be liable to the operator for damage to vehicles or equipment during your rental.

5. Reviews

After a completed booking you may leave a review. Reviews must be honest and based on your own experience. We do not edit or sell placement in reviews or rankings; rankings are computed from operator performance.

6. Liability

Services are provided by independent operators. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Crusoe's liability for any claim arising out of a booking is limited to the amount you paid for that booking. Activities such as boating, driving, and water sports carry inherent risks that you accept by participating.

7. General

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Panamá. We may update these terms; the version published here applies to new bookings. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remainder stays in effect.
